Richard Yang

Ph.D. Student

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with concentrations in Bioinstrumentation and Machine Vision. As an undergraduate student, I built fully-implantable chronic instrumentation systems for neural sensing and recording at the Wisconsin Institute for Neural Engineering. At Duke, I am researching high-throughput, high-density, low-noise instrumentation systems that aid brain-machine interfaces and intraoperative procedures.

Outside lab, I enjoy snowboarding, guitar, oil painting, an endless backlog of audiobooks, and geeking out over interior design.
